Atlanta, Georgia was selected to host the 1996 Summer Olympics. Soon after that selection construction of practice and competitive venues began. Birmingham’s Legion field was to be the site of several men’s and women’s soccer matches and with those matches came the need for practice sites. Working in business development for a regional landscape contractor Chip recognized the need for a contractor with the specialized laser equipment to construct those fields.
